The refrigerator is quieter, and emits a small hum.

The middle and top shelves varied only by a few degree each side of the mean, whereas the salad drawer stayed at 2oC. We did notice it was quite hot at the back. This could be an issue if you live in a warmer area.

Temperature stability was also good for a fridge of this type. The top shelves, middle and bottom all had an average temperature that was within just a couple of degrees either side of the maximum temperature. The salad drawer was more erratic, fluctuating between 5oC and below freezing.
The fridge also requires manual defrosting from time time, but it is graded as A+ in energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient freezers for fridges on our Best Buy chart, keeping your electricity bills down.
This is a great example of how the Swan brand can provide attractive retro-inspired designs at very competitive prices. The SR11010 looks fantastic and is available in a wide range of colors, from the soft pastel blue we tested to more striking red, pink and orange.
